Radome Auto

Automotive Radar Radome System

Radome Auto is Laird's two shot injection molded radome for automotive market. Tight tolerances for the thickness of the radome over the antenna and the ability to measure the dielectric constant of each batch allows for the assurance of signal performance in application from a tuned radome. The addition of an RF absorber side skirt reduces backlobes and sidelobes with no impact on antenna gain.

Radome5 LS

Low Dielectric Constant Structural Radome

Radome5 LS provides a low dielectric constant, low loss, and low weight radome for outdoor applications with strong impact resistance and high tensile strength. Radome5 LS incorporates an ultra low dielectric constant outer surface to enhance antenna signal performance and provide better impact resistance. The low dielectric constant outer incident surface allows for less signal strength loss as the signal enters the material compared to an overall low dK material with a higher dielectric constant outer surface.

Radome5 TP

Low Dielectric Constant Structural Radome

Radome5 TP provides a low dielectric constant, low loss, and low weight radome for outdoor and indoor applications with strong impact resistance and high tensile strength. Radome5 TP is a thermoplastic that can be thermoformed into complex curves to fit device application and aesthetic needs. Radome5 TP can be painted to meet customer required color needs. This provides an ideal radome material for 5G indoor antenna and router devices.

Radome5 Unity

Low Dielectric Constant Structural Radome

Radome5 Unity provides a low dielectric constant, low loss, and low weight radome for outdoor applications with strong impact resistance and high tensile strength. Radome5 Unity is a homogeneous dielectric constant material providing a uniform dielectric constant through its width. This allows for a low dielectric constant at the initial incident surface for increased signal pass through strength and better signal performance at off angles.
